Update and 2023!

Welcome to my new site. I'd like to give everyone some announcements and updates on everything in my world and what to expect in 2023.

The first update is there is new content that is going to be coming out in 2023. Some of that will be in the form of new novels. I'll describe them a little bit later in this post. Also, I'm going be going back to serialized fiction.

Another area that I'm looking into right now is working with different forms of artificial intelligence to generate stories and to create some fun interactive elements for everyone.

Another big change is there has been a staffing update. I have brought on a new manager to help get things done. Nesta is a no BS kind of gal, as you can see from her photo.

She has a very direct management style. If she finds I'm writing content, she doesn't like she lays on my keyboard. If she likes what I'm writing, she also lays on the keyboard. We're working on communication. As you can see though, she doesn't mess around and is always breathing down my neck.

Extermination on Pike Prime

In Q1 of 2023. I am planning on releasing a new novel that is the first book in a military sci-fi series. I'm super excited for the series to come out and super excited for these books to come out. I've been working on them for a while, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun, and I think you guys will enjoy them. There will be more on these books as they get closer.

Serialized Fiction

One of the things that I really enjoyed when I was doing the first Legon book was that it was a serialized audiobook. I'm not planning on doing these next stories as audiobooks, but I might use text-to-speech software to create an audio to share on this site at some point.

There will be a lot more content coming out on the website. One of the projects that I'm working on is a story about the seven deadly sins. I know this has been done a thousand times by a ton of folks. But it's never done by me, and it's going to be a lot of fun. You guys can be looking for that in the first half of 2023. The idea is to release one of those stories every other week or every week and go through the year that way.

Artificial Intelligence

Next, I'm also looking at doing some stuff with AI. I have been working predominately with an app called Novel AI, which allows you to do imaging creation. Something we've seen quite a bit in the news. But the area that I am playing with the most is text generation. This can be used to augment writing projects or to create D&D-type RPG adventures.

I am going to be working on training the AI to mimic my writing style for different series. The main example is the Legon books. When this is done, I will make versions available for download where users can play in the Legon work in an RPG format or create their own stories that will have the same feel as the original series, along with all of the lore and characters.

Novel AI is a pay-to-play platform, but it has a free tier for people to try. When I build out the stories, I will build several versions of the RPG model. There will be a Euterpe version and a Krake version. The long-form format will be built for the Euterpe model that is available in the free and lower-priced levels. When Krake can be trained on a specific writer, I will create a long-form format for Krake as well.

Right now, I plan on using Novel AI for image generation for these stories. The images have an Anime feel to them, but the image generator is very consistent. That said, I may use other available tools if I think they will fit better.

If you want to check out Novel AI (it's fun), here is a link https://novelai.net/

So those are the updates I have for everyone right now and the things I am working on. I will try to be better about posting, but we know I lie, and so I won't actually do that much better job about that however, you will be getting new content coming out in 2023.

Thanks!
